Workbenches

My workbenches are all double dog-hole benches with multiple leg, side and end vises. Dogs (or stops) sit in the holes and hold boards for planing, sawing, and grooving.

I built my bench tops in ash and felled a big hickory for the bases. Notice the raised panels, drawers, shelves, and board-jacks in the master bench. The masters bench, shown below, is eight feet long, and the great bench, shown above, is fourteen feet long.
